HISTORY OF STREET STYLEZ MAGAZINE
Street Stylez Magazine started as a print magazine that has grown from a one-page newsletter on the car show circuit in Florida, to a full-fledged magazine, offered “on-line” now as well. We’ve now begun to cover, AND host auto and fashion shows all over the Southeast.
In the beginning, Street Stylez Magazine was a one-page flyer type newsletter that eventually (due to requests of business owners) grew to a four-page mini magazine, complete with ad sponsorships! Imagine my surprise at this! I had unintentionally created a magazine, WITH A FOLLOWING!
After three years of this, I decided not to renew any advertisements due to the fact that I decided to take two years off to study the “ins and outs” of the publishing industry. This was to the dismay of then present advertisers and readers. I assured sponsor and reader alike, that Street Stylez Magazine was only taking time off to “grow”, and that it would be back bigger and better. We continued to cover car and fashion shows, though.
Street Stylez Magazine’s inaugural issue went to press November 08, 2007, and is produced bi-monthly, which gives six issues yearly. Press run is at a rate of 15,000 currently, and will increase as permitted. It is a full sized 8.5” X 11.0” magazine, printed using full color, no-bleed ink, which guarantees a longer than average magazine life.
That “growth” I spoke of earlier, has sparked a “new era Street Stylez Magazine”. Recently, our website was activated with mixed reviews. To ALL received, I say “Thank You”.
