Shontae Jackson
Shontae D. Drayton-Jackson, A.K.A. “Beauty”, is a 30 year old native Floridian. Educated in the local schools of St. Petersburg (her home) and Jacksonville, Fl., she decided to further her education, "in the same city that fostered and nurtured my passion for writing and poetry”, Florida State College at Jacksonville. With that not being “enough”, she furthered her education more via ACT Career Institute, and then still, at University of Phoenix, where she majors in Psychology.
Shontae serves as an integral part of Street Styles Magazine. Not only is she the Wife of its Founding Publisher / Editor, but also, a Feature Editor. She is just beginning her ‘journey’ to becoming a celebrated novelist and writer, as she is a “self-published” author with a book titled “A Woman’s Emotions”.
She is lyrically insightful, and even has published poems to her credit, as well. These poems have won her various awards and accolades, all while still in junior / senior high school.
Look for her, and watch out for her quick wit and sassy sense of humor. ‘Beauty’ is a writer who knows where it is she wants to go, so please don’t stand in her way.
